Yanks Go Marching #8


Pat & Chris are back to recap the US-Mexico match, Julian Green's debut, Omar Gonzalez's Woes, and "Who's In, Who's Out?". Next the guys talk about who they would take; Omar Gonzalez or Clarence Goodson, Eddie Johnson vs Chris Wondolowski, Julian Green or Brek Shea or Brad Davis. Then they tackle the current Best XI before turning their focus to MLS: Bradley & TFC, Dempsey & Seattle, and Player Salaries. The 2016 Copa America is coming to the US, and Pat is very happy about the FIFA World Cup game coming out within the next week.

Yanks Go Marching #5

What's your John Travolta name?
Pat & Chris are back to dicuss the Ukraine friendly in Cyprus. Is it on? Is it off? Who knows. In the meantime, they run down their Starting XI in case the game is on. The new US jersey is official, and the guys give their final thoughts. Stu Holden just can't catch a break as he's injured again. Is Landon Donovan undervaled when doning the Red, White, & Blue? Should the US go after Arsenal youngster Gedion Zelalem? In Yanks Abroad, Dempsey makes his final start for Fulham while Altidore can't make it to Wembley. Will FIFA crack down on Russia and take away the 2018 World Cup? Finally the guys run down the approaching MLS season, predicting Confernece, Shield, and MLS Cup winners.

In the latest edition of the Yanks Go Marching podcast, hosts Pat & Chirs tackle a wide range of topics. They start off with with the USMNT Friendly vs Ukraine being moved to Cyprus. Next it's onto an unexpected addition to the European USMNT Camp, and the Best XI based on players in Europe. Did Dempsey's bad loan spell to Fulham hurt his MLS & World Cup chances? Chivas USA is bought back by MLS, but what's the plan for the future? MLS Referees might or might not go on strike. They tackle the important topic of MLS shifting to the European schedule. Pat & Chris talk about the"meaningless" 2-0 victory over South Korea, and who helped or hurt their chances of going to Brazil. They talk about the current USMNT Starting XI based on form, and ponder if the US can succeed without an in-form Clint Dempsey. In Yanks abroad, Juan Agudelo scores his first goal while Fabian Johnson will be up for a free transfer in the summer window. Turning to MLS, the guys cover Beckham FC and the future of MLS. Can it finally start to beat out Liga MX? Lastly, producer Jason gets in on the action with the first ever yellow & red cards being handed out on YGM.

In the inaugural edition of the Yanks Go Marching podcast, hosts Patrick MacDonald and Chris Kaminski talk about the January camp roster.
